The online card catalogue.

I just realised that it's getting on for five years since I updated this page. It's not that I haven't done any work on the site. On the contrary I have been adding for information all the time, in particular on "silk" issues. However since I took over as webmaster of www.csgb.co.uk most of my efforts have been there. As time goes by, the information from Germancards will be duplicated there. Germancards still provides everything you wanted to know about German collectable cards and more. Anyone who just wants a list of German card issues will find one in Köberich. However if you want to know about errors, variations, changed cards or maybe just sets that haven't made it into Köberich yet you couldn't have come to a better place. This catalogue is far from complete but there is still a lot of useful information here, much of it from my own discoveries. It also has the great advantage that changes can be made almost instantaneously. You don't have to wait for years for a new printed catalogue. And of course German Cards contains illustrations. BTW it's best viewed with Internet Explorer. I have removed the e-mail link to contact me. It got to the point where over 97% of my e-mail was spam so I changed addresses and am not publicising the new one. In any case, most of the e-mail I got was of the type "How much is it worth then?". This site is for collectors and a true collector collects for the pleasure of having the cards, not for their value. Collectors know me and know where I can be contacted. If all you want to know is a price, you may be lucky and find the German catalogue value on the site. Otherwise have a look in e-bay to see if your cards are being sold there.
